A reimagining of the classic 2D platformer with modern mechanics and intense action!

Built in Godot, Dangerous Dave 2.0 blends retro charm with fast-paced, precision platforming. This demo features expanded content including multiple handcrafted levels, new enemies, environmental traps, and cinematic cutscenes that bring the world to life.

• Tight movement with wall slide, wall jump, and dash mechanics
• Combat system with ranged weapons and ammo-based inventory
• Grappling hook mechanics aimed with a reticle for fluid traversal

🎮 Controls
Controller:

  • Move: Left joystick

  • Aim reticle: Right joystick

  • Switch inventory: Left & Right D-Pad

  • Fire weapon: Right Trigger (R2)

  • Fire grappling hook: Left Trigger (L2)

  • Jump: A / Cross

  • Dash: B / Circle

  • UI Buttons: Aim with Reticle + Select button

Keyboard & Mouse:

  • Move: W A S D

  • Aim reticle: Mouse
